Winter. We are in the middle of our winter season here on the east coast of America. We only saw snow briefly so far this year. I am not complaining, but when the chill hits the air, and work is a grind, I dream of sneaking away to the beach. In SL, I can do that anytime I feel like it! The beauty of make believe. For real, I live minutes from the ocean. I don't get away enough and just breathe in the salty air. Even in the winter, the shore fills my soul, center's me and allows my mind to calm down. Constant thinking isn't really good for us humans. We need to unwind more. You would think COVID taught me that lesson? Since I work for the Post, I never stopped during COVID, in fact we ramped up! I did however like what I witnessed in so many others. It was a time to just be. Lock down forced us in and mandated most sit still in our homes. So, I can pretend and create my own world in SL.
