I am not happy about the new trend of posting the details under my flicker photos. To me, this is an additional step in the process of blogging. It seems like a simple request. One less stop the customer has to make in order to purchase the blogged items in the post. So, how many times is it necessary to link and share? Do I really need to maintain a blog site (tagging each brand and feed) AND flicker pro (adding to over 200 groups) AND Facebook (sharing to more groups) AND fashion feeds (reposting of my original)? Some brands still require Discord posting as well. Perhaps I'm just getting too cranky to be bothered with all this socializing or just need to cut back on the daily blogging. When I first started blogging most only required 2 posts a month. Now most require 4. So daily posting is pretty much needed for the work load I currently agreed to.
I sense that the shopping culture has changed in SL. Brands are competing for the same shoppers. Lindens are being stretched like RL dollars. I suppose it's time for me to evaluate and come up with a resolution everyone can be happy with. I'm not sure what that will be just yet. I need to mull it over in the coming weeks. I wonder what your opinion is. How are my fellow bloggers dealing with increasing demands. Are you keeping your website, flicker, Facebook, discord, Instagram all going? Did you cut back, and what did you migrate too? Until next time ...
I absolutely agree with you on posting everything to a blog and to flickr plu all of out socials. It takes a few hours to complete it all honestly.
