.. Merry Christmas ..
Christmas is finally here! Each year as I get older Christmas seems to come once a year, quicker. My favorite part of any holiday but most particularly Christmas is the time I spend with family. Gift giving is fun, but it’s the conversations and laughs that we have together that really fills my soul. Good quality time with those I love always lifts me up until the next time we gather. I walk away with lifted spirit and smiles on my face that continue through out the days following. Sometimes, while all the family activity is going on, I step away and listen from a quiet corner. Taking in all the voices and laughter. Simplistic as that may seem, it makes me so so happy. I also love to capture each member from afar using my camera on zoom. I LOVE a still photo with the face that shows what’s happening on the inside as much as it revels the outside. I don’t always get to hide while flashing away, my family is on to me. They know what I’m up to and ultimately what will end up as a gift in future holiday gatherings.
I have always loved black and white photo’s, surprisingly I don’t use that medium in SL. But! I think I just might. I do feel obligated to show off my sponsors items in the best light, which always includes the colors available. For 2018 I’d like to change things up and take my photo’s to another level. I have dropped the home and decor sponsors, for now. I have requested leave to focus on fashion. Each one of them are totally supportive and understanding. I am not surprised. They are incredible people who create beautiful items for us all. They allowed me to grow as a decorator without judgement or complaint. I know they are the best of the best creators and I am so blessed to have the honor of being part of their blog team. A huge thank you to Serenity Style, Fancy Decor, HAIKEI,Little Branch,Zerkalo, and Seven Emporium. I applied knowing I would love everything about them, and I wasn’t wrong.
To all the fellow bloggers out there doing their best to showcase the new items available in Second Life, I wish you a very Merry Christmas full of love and laughter. See you all in 2018!
